Flj\u00f3tlega eftir \u00fea\u00f0 var okkur bo\u00f0i\u00f0 a\u00f0 syngja \u00e1 Listah\u00e1t\u00ed\u00f0 \u00ed Reykjav\u00edk! Vi\u00f0 studdum p\u00f3lsk-\u00fakra\u00ednska d\u00faettinn DAGADANA, sem er \u00feekktur fyrir a\u00f0 setja n\u00fat\u00edmalegt \u00edvafi \u00e1 hef\u00f0bundna slavneska t\u00f3nlist. N\u00e6sta stopp \u00e1 lei\u00f0inni okkar var B\u00fadapest! H\u00e9r hittum vi\u00f0 kammerk\u00f3rinn \u201eVass Lajos Kamarak\u00f3rus\u201c og fengum okkur a\u00f0 syngja \u00e1 ungversku og \u00feau sungu l\u00edka \u00e1 \u00edslensku! Seinni hluti fer\u00f0arinnar f\u00f3r fram \u00ed V\u00ednarborg. H\u00e9r h\u00f6fum vi\u00f0 sm\u00e1 t\u00edma til a\u00f0 sko\u00f0a borgina, \u00f3peruna og stoltsg\u00f6nguna! S\u00ed\u00f0asta daginn okkar h\u00e9ldum vi\u00f0 t\u00f3nleika me\u00f0 k\u00f3rnum \u201eChor Wien Neubau\u201c sem bau\u00f0 okkur \u00e1 eftir \u00e1 vi\u00f0bur\u00f0 sem \u00feeir kalla \u201eHeuriger\u201c – hef\u00f0bundinn austurr\u00edskan kv\u00f6ldver\u00f0 \u00fear sem bo\u00f0i\u00f0 er upp \u00e1 n\u00fdtt v\u00edn \u00e1rsins – sem vi\u00f0 nutum einstaklega vel!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vi\u00f0 hl\u00f6kkum til n\u00fds n\u00e1ms\u00e1rs og vonumst til a\u00f0 taka \u00e1 m\u00f3ti n\u00fdjum s\u00f6ngvurum \u00ed H\u00e1sk\u00f3lak\u00f3rinn. Innt\u00f6kuprufur fara fram 2. og 3. september fr\u00e1 klukkan 16:30 \u00ed kapellunni \u00ed A\u00f0albyggingu H\u00e1sk\u00f3la \u00cdslands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n

H\u00e1skolakorinn had an exciting year so far! The semester started with a wonderful spring concert, including a broad programm of Icelandic and Hungarian songs. Soon after that we were invited to sing at the Reykavik Arts Festival! We supported the polish-ukranian duo DAGADANA, who are known for putting a contemporary twist on traditional Slavic music. We sang songs in polish, as well as DAGDANA\u2019s modern version of Krummi svaf \u00ed klettagj\u00e1! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only one day later we started off to our big Europe Tour! We started the trip with a concert in Balatonf\u00fcred at Balaton Lake and a visit to T\u00edhany. Next stop on our route was Budapest! Here we met the chamber choir \u201cVass Lajos Kamarak\u00f3rus\u201d\u00a0and had a shared us singing in Hungarian, and them singing in Icelandic aswell! The second part of our journey took place in Vienna. Here we has some time to explore the city, the opera and the pride parade! On our last day, we had a concert with the choir \u201cChor Wien Neubau\u201d who invited us afterwards to an event they call \u201cHeuriger\u201d – a traditional Austrian dinner where the new wine of the year is served – which we enjoyed to the most!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re looking forward to the new academic year and hope to welcome new singers in H\u00e1skolak\u00f3rinn. The auditions will take place on September 2nd and 3rd from 16:30 in the chapel in A\u00f0albygging at the University of Iceland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
